Accelerated Change and the Crises of European Identities
Thomas Hylland Eriksen (University of Oslo)

Professor Eriksen will draw on research by himself and others on “super-diversity” in European cities and new patterns of migration. He will elaborate how Europe’s ongoing economic crisis and the rise of neo-nationalist movements contribute to reconfiguring collective orientations across the continent.
