To ASAP members and friends,
Just a quick update that we are moving forward on three panels for the Inter Congress of the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia in early May 2016. Conference details are at http://iuaes2016.com/. I have not personally been to Dubrovnik, but by all accounts this will be a very nice conference venue with a really lovely location on the coast. Access is direct from many European cities (including by EasyJet).
The three ASAP sessions so far will be on comparative migration and resettlement policies, higher education policy, and policy styles in Southeast Europe. More detail on all of these will be on the list (asap-l) over the next few weeks, but in the meantime feel free to contact me if:
a. You have some interest in these three particular panels
b. Have interest in some other area, whether for a complete panel or one of a set of individual papers (which we will help organize into a panel if needed)
Note that this is outside the AAA structure, so it is a good opportunity for Anth-of-Policy colleagues who are not members of the AAA to participate — and we welcome that.
